The Graduate School is hosting its fourth annual Graduate Research Symposium (formerly Celebration of Graduate Research and Creative Activities), a part of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Research Week. This is an opportunity for graduate students across all of our disciplines to present their independent research and creative pursuits to the campus community.

This year’s celebration will be comprised of two sets of events on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 both in the Campus Center Multipurpose Room.

  • Research and Creative Writing Presentation Sessions from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm: These three one-hour sessions are an opportunity to present a short (10 minute) overview of your research or creative writing project with or without an accompanying PowerPoint.  Each one hour session will have space for five presenters followed by a Q&A for all presenters.
  • Poster and Digital Display Exhibition from 4:30 to 6:00 pm: This is the traditional poster and digital display event and allows for the campus community and guests to view your research and ask questions to you directly.
