The master of arts in teaching is for those interested in pursuing a career in K-12 teaching or teaching at the community college level. The program focuses especially on providing training in Spanish that will be of practical use for teachers working in a bilingual setting. Our M.A.T. offers fluent Spanish speakers who may come from a variety of cultural and educational traditions a thorough grounding in the methodologies and expectations common in U.S. classrooms.
